Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dietitian to join our paediatric team and lead on cystic fibrosis. The post is based at Worcestershire Royal Hospital; travel to the Alexandra Hospital or other locations may be required. We are a proactive Dietetic department comprising 26 dietitians within specialty teams, with excellent links within MDTs in the Trust.

Our department holds regular specialty and team meetings focused on quality improvement and CPD.
Main Duties
- Act as an expert autonomous Dietitian to develop and contribute to the delivery and service improvement of the Paediatric Nutrition and Dietetic service for Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Trust.
- Provide expert dietetic care for paediatric inpatients and outpatient clinics.
- Lead the paediatric dietetic team, managing operational issues and staffing, providing supervision, support, and education.
- Collaborate with the MDT to deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient services.
- Manage clinical caseloads, supervise, coordinate, and allocate work within the team.
- Develop and review standards, policies, and resources related to paediatric dietetics.
- Supervise and develop junior staff.
- Lead specialist assessments and evidence-based management of complex paediatric cases.
- Develop clinical guidelines, resources, and educational materials as a recognised expert in paediatrics.
