Job Summary
The post holder will undertake cleaning tasks within the assigned accommodation, ensuring that the environment meets the required standards at all times. They will report any issues that prevent effective cleaning to their supervisor. The role involves working as part of a small team to provide a clean and safe environment for staff in staff accommodation areas.
Main Duties
- Maintain cleanliness in the allocated areas.
- Develop good working relationships with colleagues and staff residing in the accommodation.
Cleaning Responsibilities:
- Mopping floors.
- Vacuum cleaning.
- Cleaning kitchen areas, including appliances and cupboards.
- Changing and hanging curtains.
- Cleaning toilets, bathrooms, and shower areas.
- Cleaning stairwells.
- Performing high-level cleaning using step ladders.
