Job summary Estates and Facilities *Please note this role will attract an additional payment of up to £11k per annum pro-rata. The postholder will be expected to actively contribute to both Trusts\’ Strategy, leading the delivery of the Group\’s extensive capital programme which aims to improve the Group\’s infrastructure and increase clinical capacity, provide leadership within the hospital Senior Leadership Team, and undertake the line management function for allocating key operational services improving efficiency and compliance. They will be responsible for directly managing the entirety of the Business Management function and its associated services within the division, whilst deputising for the GCFIEO as required. Main duties of the job The Deputy Group Chief Facilities, Infrastructure and Environment Officer (DGCFIEO) will directly support and deputise for the Group Chief Facilities, Infrastructure and Environment Officer to ensure the smooth running of all functions within the group team, together with having direct accountable responsibility for a number of areas including Hard FM, Estates project management and Clinical Engineering and Medical Physics. The DGCFIEO will also be fully involved in all the Group\’s core activities, along with executive and site directors, contributing to the corporate management of the Group, and providing regular input into key business decisions at executive level meetings and on programme boards for major projects.
