We are looking for a part-time Ophthalmologist to join our team to deliver excellent care and a range of ophthalmic procedures.

  • Current GMC specialist registration in Ophthalmology
  • A high level of operative skill in high volume Phakoemulsification under topical anaesthesia, Occuloplastics, Glaucoma, and Wet AMD
  • Experience at Consultant level within the UK
  • Committed to your own continuing medical education and professional development.

We are looking for a part-time Ophthalmologist to join our team to deliver excellent care and a range of ophthalmic procedures.

Person Specification

Experience

Essential

  • Wide training and experience in general ophthalmology
  • Able to offer expert clinical opinion on a range of problems within ophthalmology
  • Able to take full and independent responsibility for delivering service without direct supervision
  • Experience of high volume cataract surgery under topical anaesthesia
  • Understanding of Clinical Governance
  • Evidence of clinical outcomes

Desirable

  • Training in management
  • Experience of working in a surgical centre
  • Fellowship level training
