KEY RESPONSIBILTIES Sorting and prioritising all incoming mail and e-mail that relates to safeguarding or potential safeguarding issues. Acting as the main safeguarding link for all practices with regards phone calls/messages Acting as a point of contact for teams, dealing and responding effectively with complex queries from stakeholders and passing on relevant information to appropriate team members sensitively and autonomously. Deal with any telephone calls for practices from third parties regarding safeguarding issues. Ensuring practice safeguarding registers are accurate & up to date. Completing safeguarding reports received from third parties. Attending safeguarding meetings with relevant agencies, e.g., social services Ensuring codes are accurately entered/amended onto medical records. Running and collating reports which may include reports to the PCN Board Ensuring practices have relevant & up to date policies in place. Maintaining effective electronic filing systems, to ensure
that information is kept securely and is accessible to other members of the team. To support practices in any Learning Reviews Acting as an expert Safeguarding resource for practices
