Clinical Under the direction of a qualified practitioner, participate in the delivery of planned care within in patient environments. The post holder will undertake a range of duties which include: Assist in the development of personal care skills. Assist and support in self-help, communication and social skills acquisition. Assist and promote independence with activities of daily living. Contribute to service users recovery by assisting them to participate in social, vocational, recreational and leisure activities within the appropriate setting. Assist in the implementation of specific care programmers and therapies under the supervision of qualified staff. Be committed to continued development. Provide information to enable the effectiveness of care to be evaluated. Ensure appropriate records are keep under the supervision of a qualified practitioner. Assist in the involvement of service users and carers/relatives in the delivery of care. Contribute to providing support to service
users carers and family. Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure service users needs are met. Assist and respond appropriately to urgent and emergency situations. Provide escort for service users and assist in the transfer of service users as directed. Assist in the development of services. Assist in the effective and efficient use of resources. Understand and adhere to Trust policies, procedures and clinical guidelines. Report any concern regarding service users to a qualified practitioner. Contribute to service improvement initiatives to enhance the quality. Assist in service user and public involvement activities. Supports individuals equality, diversity and rights. Participate in Serious Incident Investigations/Reviews as required
