The Role

As an Associate HR Business Partner / Senior HR Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service to the business. Partnering closely with senior leaders and stakeholders, you will provide strategic and operational HR support across a range of functions. This is a hands-on role, offering the opportunity to make a real impact in a growing, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Partner with leadership teams to implement people strategies that support business objectives.
  • Support on employee relations matters, including performance management, grievances, and disciplinary processes.
  • Support talent acquisition and onboarding efforts to ensure the recruitment of top talent.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and development.
  • Support the design and delivery of learning and development programs to build capability across the organisation.
  • Collaborate on compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Analyse HR data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, including diversity and inclusion, wellbeing, and company development.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a confident and adaptable HR professional with a strong generalist background and a passion for partnering with the business.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an HR Advisor or Business Partner role, ideally within a fast-paced, commercial environment.
  • TUPE experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification or working towards it.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a private equity-backed, high-growth, or entrepreneurial business.
  • Exposure to HR systems and data analysis.
