The predicted salary is between 43000 - 59000 £ per year.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the Clinical Support Nurse team based at the Western Isles Hospital. The team consists of 7 qualified ANPs, 5 trainee ANPs and 2 HCAs. The service presently covers hospital at night and also oversees bed management and provides clinical support alongside the medical team during the daytime.

You must have completed an NHS Western Isles approved advanced clinical assessment and history taking module at degree level and also be registered with the NMC as a non-medical prescriber (V300) and have significant experience working in the acute care setting at advanced practice level.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills along with a flexible team orientated approach, with ability to work well both as a lone practitioner but also collaboratively alongside the wider clinical teams. Experience of bed management and operational management of acute areas is desirable.

The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme). This post is not eligible for relocation expenses.
