An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HCPC registered Physiotherapist to join our rotational band 6 programme based in Dundee. This post offers experience across a variety of clinical settings including acute inpatients, rehabilitation wards, community and outpatients. Rotations include Medicine (Acute and Frailty), Surgical and Critical Care, Orthopaedics (Trauma, Elective and Plastics), Community Rehabilitation, MSK and Neurology (Acute stroke, Neurosurgery and Neuro rehabilitation).
As a Band 6 Rotational Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for delivering physiotherapy interventions across the variety of specialties, ensuring high standards of care tailored to individual patient needs. You will develop and implement therapeutic programmes and discharge plans that support recovery and continuity of care. Working within a 7-day service model, you will contribute to patient flow and enhanced outcomes. In addition, you will supervise and support junior staff, physiotherapy support workers, and students, fostering a collaborative and educational environment. Your role will also involve active participation in Clinical Governance, service development initiatives, and the integration of evidence-based practice. Following appropriate training, you will undertake respiratory on-call duties as part of the weekday and weekend rota.
