This is an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Assistant to join the District Nursing Service in Dundee. You will work within a team to provide care to patients and support to their carers within a home/community setting.
Dundee Community Nursing Service is implementing the Transforming District Nursing initiative, which is expected to create significant career development opportunities. The ideal candidate will be well-organized and possess excellent communication skills.
Due to Health and Social Care integration, a commitment to multidisciplinary working and the ability to adapt and manage change within the service are essential.
The role involves working a variety of shifts over 7 days, between 08:00 and 22:00, including weekends and public holidays. Ability to travel across Dundee and surrounding areas is also essential.
Hours of work are approximately 19.7 hours over 5 days, including weekends and public holidays. Candidates should be willing to work various shifts over a 24-hour period.
