Our role is to support the NHS to save lives and improve health. We source, deliver and supply healthcare products, services and food for NHS trusts and healthcare organisations across England and Wales. We serve every NHS Trust and operate a national network of distribution centres, managing relationships with more than a thousand suppliers and delivering more than 8,000,000 orders each year to more than 17,000 locations.
Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated support for administrative tasks including the production of data spreadsheets and information documents.
- Carry out website updates and ensure communications messages meet brand guidelines.
- Collaborate across multiple internal teams to ensure business-critical communications are accurate and produced to required deadlines.
- Coordinate the Important Customer Notices (ICN) process and ensure their accurate and timely communication to the market in line with guidance.
- Coordinate the production of contract launch communications materials to ensure NHS trusts are aware of the frameworks offered.
- Format spreadsheets, check standard Word documents and maintain brand compliance.
- Manage the Customer and Supplier Communications inbox and tracker.
- Upload information to a website content management system for publication.
- Provide ad-hoc support to Communications Managers on administrative tasks and the production of evaluation and reporting information (e.g., Monday.com, Google Analytics).

Required skills and experience
- Extensive administrative experience in a customer-facing sector. NHS or wider healthcare sector experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Proven ability to work with multiple teams across an organisation and communicate effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse data.
- Ability to work on own initiative and meet tight deadlines.
- Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and Excel.
- Experience with website content management systems is advantageous.
- Excellent written and strong verbal communication skills.
