NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Capital Finance Admin Assistant to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first.
Working as part of the Financial Control team, the Capital Finance Admin Assistant is responsible for transacting supplier & customer invoices ensuring they are processed efficiently to replenish the fund cash flow. Working closely with the Operations and Transport teams to manage capital stock at the external depots and ensure seamless delivery to the end customer. Working efficiently with Operations and our Suppliers is critical to ensuring lifesaving Capital Equipment can be delivered as quickly and safely as possible to our front-line NHS staff

- Monitor and analyse data using established finance systems and protocols.
- Find the most effective ways to respond to routine functional inquiries. This involves following procedures and processes.
- Develop knowledge and understanding of the organisation\’s policies and procedures and relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards.
- Contribute to reviewing existing operations in your area of work, and supporting in generating new ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements.
- Support the implementation of financial systems process changes and enhancements.
- Maintain accurate records, case notes, and case files, by defined requirements and procedures, to ensure that information is accessible and auditable.
- Respond to and record day-to-day incidents with suppliers and respond to routine queries from suppliers and internal customers in a timely manner to enable delivery of the agreed services and supplies.
