NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Benefits Realisation Manager to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first and to deliver against our strategic objectives.

We are seeking an experienced Benefits Realisation Manager who will be responsible for working with our NHS customers to define, capture and realise the benefits of the solutions that we provide. They will create and communicate consistent and agreed standards to enable benefits realisation as well as being responsible for pipeline development in conjunction with the Customer Engagement team to ensure a robust delivery plan. This role is a field-based role and will cover the Midlands and the South of England.

They will also set up the necessary baseline data and methodology to allow our customers to robustly capture and report on data against agreed measures and work in close collaboration with key customer stakeholders in the analysis of data captured and subsequent conversion into benefits realised, with appropriate Trust Executive approvals and NHS England endorsement.

Every day you will …

  • Work within the NHS healthcare industry to promote and drive adoption of best practice benefits realisation methodology for the management of clinical consumables
  • Create and communicate consistent and agreed standards to enable benefits realisation
  • Works as subject matter expert with customers and colleagues in the fields of process design, data capture and analytics, to embed sustainable workflows and technologies for recurring benefits realisation
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all organisational levels and be persuasive in promoting good practice and industry leading methodologies for process design, data capture and analysis
  • Manage inbound project pipeline to plan to ensure a robust benefits delivery against functional and business-level objectives and strategy
  • Define and configure baseline data and methodology to enable NHS colleagues to robustly capture and report on data against agreed measures
  • Collate, assure, and analyse data from a wide range of sources to analyse and communicate key themes and customer/organisational impact
  • Autonomously plans and prioritises work to meet commitments aligned to organisational and programme deliverables

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the acumen to develop effective business solutions.
  • Your own transport, this is a field base role and you will be at customer sites for a minimum of two days per week.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the gravitas to communicate effectively with senior Managers and senior external stakeholders.
  • Well-developed engagement skills, with the ability to influence and lead change both internally and externally
  • Proven ability in the analysis and re-engineering of systems, processes, and procedures.
  • A good understanding of project planning/project management
  • Excel and Power BI super expertise. The interview process will comprise of Excel tests on complex formula and Power BI.
