Position Details
The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, between 08:30 and 17:00.
Job Purpose
We seek an enthusiastic individual with a background in medical technology or physics to join our team delivering a Nuclear Medicine imaging service. Responsibilities include routine performance and quality control of diagnostic nuclear medicine studies, processing and managing acquired data, operating under IRMER regulations, patient cannulation, and radiopharmaceutical administration.
Qualifications and Experience
A degree in Medical Technology, Physical Science, BSc in Diagnostic or Therapeutic Radiology, or a related discipline, or equivalent qualification. HNC/ONC with relevant experience will also be considered. Desirable: Registration on the Register for Clinical Technologists (RCT). If not registered, the candidate will follow a training plan to achieve DipIPEM (T), potentially including postgraduate modules within 2.5 years. Experience in a healthcare environment, including planning, investigating, and executing technical projects.
