NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to over 1.15 million people, expanding to 2.2 million when including regional and national services.
We are offering 1 permanent position, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during office hours, with on-call responsibilities.
The post holder will work with an Operational Estates Team responsible for meeting key organizational objectives, ensuring the effective, efficient, and safe operation and maintenance of estates services, systems, and budgets.
The role requires compliance with statutory requirements and NHS healthcare standards and guidelines for daily operational activities within the Estates Department.
The successful candidate will participate in using the FM First PPM & Reactive Maintenance System to ensure statutory compliance and effective repairs, especially concerning electrical systems (SHTM 06-01) and working with NHS GG&C Framework/Approved Contractors as needed.
Applicants should be at least HNC qualified in a technical subject or working towards this qualification.
As NHS services operate 24/7, the role includes managing and maintaining an operational on-call system.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
