Job Title: Maintenance Assistant
The board is seeking to employ a Maintenance Assistant to assist in providing comprehensive maintenance, repair, and minor works services within NHS Golden Jubilee. The post holder will work flexibly as part of a trained multi-skilled team, independently risk assessing situations and faulty equipment, undertaking electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs that do not require a time-served craftsperson, and supporting Multi-Skilled Technicians and Craftsmen.
This role involves a rotating shift pattern, to be discussed at interview.
The successful candidate will have significant knowledge and understanding of a wide range of trades and disciplines within the healthcare built environment. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as the post involves working within a close-knit team.
Please note, working hours are subject to change in line with the National Working Time Reduction (WTR).
