Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Community Staff Nurse within NHS Highland. This is a permanent, part‑time 30 hours per week post based in the Integrated Office of the new community Hospital in Aviemore, working 9:00 to 17:00 four days a week, with normally one weekend a month. The role involves the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care in conjunction with the multi‑disciplinary team to ensure high quality evidence‑based holistic care. Care can be delivered in community care homes and the ITR clinic. The applicant should be motivated, keen to learn, develop new skills and enthusiastic about Community Nursing. Community experience would be advantageous but not essential; consideration also given to newly qualified staff. There is also a small on‑call commitment; a full current driving licence and access to a car are essential. Allocation to use of pool car is given to staff travelling greatest distance.
