We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

A 12-month fixed-term, 1.0 WTE (37 hours) vacancy has arisen for a Band 8A Clinical or Counselling Psychologist within the Auchinlea Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), which provides high-quality mental health care and treatment to individuals in North East Glasgow.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-intensity, specialist psychological therapies as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Provide clinical supervision for a range of staff delivering psychological interventions, including doctoral trainees.

Qualifications

  • HCPC-registered as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
  • Experience working in adult secondary care mental health services.
  • Competence in delivering evidence-based psychological therapies.
  • Completed formal training in supervision and have experience supervising others in clinical practice.

Team and Development

The postholder will join the large and dynamic North East Glasgow & East Dunbartonshire Psychology department and benefit from a strong professional network, regular supervision, and access to CPD opportunities.
