Position: Porter / Security

As a general porter / security officer, you will be required to undertake portering / security duties daily to ensure an efficient, effective, and safe service for wards, departments, and patients, delivering the highest standards of service within the NTC site.

You must have the ability to work as part of a team or independently, follow instructions, and possess good communication skills.

You should be able to respond constructively to unpredictable situations and cope well under pressure.

You will need to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

A driving license is essential, as you will be expected to drive vans up to 3.5 tonnes and small portering/security vehicles.

Applicants should be well-educated, well-presented, and have good customer communication skills.
