Facilities Assistants NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s Facilities Directorate supports patient care every day through catering, cleaning and portering, services.
We are recruiting Facilities Assistants to join our brand-new Staff Bank. These are flexible opportunities available across our hospitals and health centres open to external candidates only.
Our Roles
Domestic Assistants Keeping clinical and non-clinical areas clean, including mopping, vacuuming, replenishing supplies and washroom maintenance.
Catering Assistants Delivering and regenerating meals for patients, plating at ward level, supporting functions, and cleaning catering equipment.
Portering Assistants Carrying out portering duties, assisting in emergencies, and ensuring hospital entrances and wards remain clear and accessible.

South: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital
North: Glasgow Royal Infirmary & Lightburn
Clyde: Royal Alexandra Hospital, Inverclyde Royal, Vale of Leven, Dumbarton & health centres
West: Gartnavel Campus, Stobhill, Leverndale, Dykebar & health centres
