This is an exciting opportunity to support a professionally qualified social worker with a disability in the exercise of her adult social care duties. Duties will include assisting with home visits and some clerical/ admin responsibilities. The post would enable the successful candidate to gain experience of social care and knowledge of the social work role in adult care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with home visits and some clerical/admin responsibilities to support the social worker in adult social care duties.

Requirements

  • Driving licence is essential.
  • Ability to engage with members of the public in a dignified and respectful way.
  • Good IT skills are also required.

Contract details

This is a 12 hours per week post, worked in accordance with service requirements. This is a fixed term post to 13th January 2027.

Eligibility

This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
