The Role

To provide reception service for patients in the Out of Hours service, ensuring that all calls and appointments are dealt with efficiently and in a professional manner.

What we\’ll need you to bring

Excellent communication skills including good telephone manner.

Good Computer Skills.

Able to work under pressure

Ability to be flexible and adaptable to shift coverage.

A good standard of education and common sense.

It would be great if you also have

Educated to higher level or SVQ

Previous NHS Experience Preferred

Relevant customer/patient focused environment

Understanding out of hours’ service

Working knowledge of computer systems

Can demonstrate flexibility and possess people skills

Car Owner/driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA drivers licence

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.

Location and Working Pattern

This role will be based in NHS Lanarkshire Area Wide

The working pattern for this role Mon-Sun various hours / shifts.
