*Doctors Direct* have an exciting opportunity for a *Senior House Officer* to work with us at *George Eliot Hospitals NHS Trust* in *Paediatrics.*
We are looking for a doctor dedicated to, and passionate about, improving health and wellbeing within the George Eliot community.
*Your key responsibilities will be to*
* A Children’s Assessment Unit,
* A Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) – 8 cots Level 1
* Postnatal Ward – 2000+ deliveries per year- weekdays baby checks.
* Children’s Outpatient Clinic including specialist clinics
* Treatment room
* Assessment and treatment of acutely unwell children in CAU
* Assist in the resuscitation and stabilisation of critically children
* Diagnosis, treatment, and continuing care of new born infants in the SCBU and Drayton Postnatal Ward.
* Undertake treatments and procedures in infants or children attending Treatment Room.
* Perform duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances at the request of the appropriate Consultant, in consultation where practical, with his colleagues.

* *Location*: Coventry & Warwickshire
* *Days per week:* Monday-Friday *OR* various ad hoc shifts available every day of the week
* *Shift pattern:* 08:00-16:00/9:00-17:00, on-going, part-time hours also available
* *Hours per week*: 20-50 hours available
* *Start date*: ASAP- no end date, this is on-going the client will accept short term contracts
* *Rate of pay: *£45-£55 per hour (negotiable)
