ob Title: Reception Administrator Location: Luther Street Medical Centre, PO Box 7, St. Aldates, Oxford, OX1 1UL Hours: 37 hours per week Monday – Friday shifts are: 8am – 4pm, 9am – 5pm and 10.30am – 6.30pm candidates must be available to work all shift patterns Trust Location: Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust Role type: Temporary for 6 months with possibility of extension What you’ll be responsible for: · To act as a first point of contact for visitors and patients to the practice, both when attending in person and when contacting the practice by telephone and provide a welcoming environment for service users and visitors. · Maintain an efficient system for the provision of repeat prescriptions, liaising between patients and clinical staff to ensure the timely provision of repeat medication following agreed protocols · Dealing with patients who present with drug and alcohol addiction and mental health issues · Efficiently operate the EMIS appointment system for the clinical staff and undertake the day to day administration of the reception area. · Undertake and complete administrative tasks to help with the smooth operations of the Centre, as requested by senior administrator and senior receptionist · Complete any audio typing as required in a timely and accurate manner. To provide support to the Senior Practice Administrator as appropriate to the job role This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience. You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust: 1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS 2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times 3.
