Location: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, Queens Medical Centre, Derby Road, Nottingham, NG7 2UH

Pay: Band 5 - £18.66 - £25.07

Shift Pattern: Working 12 hour shifts – 7am – 7pm and 7pm - 7am on a 4 days on, 4 days off then 4 nights on, 4 nights off rota (this will include some weekends & nights)

About the role

NHS Professionals are looking for pro-active and hardworking plumber to work as part of the Estates and Facilities team at Queens Medical Centre on an ongoing basis. The role would suit someone who holds a level 2/3 NVQ qualification in plumbing or has a minimum of two years’ experience working in the field.

As a plumber in the NHS, your work includes but is not restricted to:

  • Planned maintenance and inspections
  • Repairing equipment that is broken or faulty
  • Testing equipment and systems
  • Improvements and installations across the trust

You could be working alongside other estates services staff such as electricians, carpenters, and bricklayers.

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

  • An NVQ Level 2 qualification in plumbing or has a minimum of two years’ experience working in the field
  • NHS experience is desirable but not essential
  • A driving license is required as travel to City Hospital may be required from time to time
  • Excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
