Job Title: Plumber Location: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, Queens Medical Centre, Derby Road, Nottingham, NG7 2UH Pay: Band 5 – £18.66 – £25.07 Shift Pattern: Working 12 hour shifts – 7am – 7pm and 7pm – 7am on a 4 days on, 4 days off then 4 nights on, 4 nights off rota (this will include some weekends & nights) About the role NHS Professionals are looking for pro-active and hardworking plumber to work as part of the Estates and Facilities team at Queens Medical Centre on an ongoing basis. The role would suit someone who holds a level 2/3 NVQ qualification in plumbing or has a minimum of two years’ experience working in the field. Could you be a part of this team? As a plumber in the NHS, your work includes but is not restricted to: · Planned maintenance and inspections · Repairing equipment that is broken or faulty · Testing equipment and systems · Improvements and installations across the trust You could be working alongside other estates services staff such as electricians, carpenters, and bricklayers. You’ll have the following skills/experience: * An NVQ Level 2 qualification in plumbing or has a minimum of two years’ experience working in the field * NHS experience is desirable but not essential * A driving license is required as travel to City Hospital maybe required from time to time * Excellent customer service * Excellent communication skills About the trust Formed in 2006, Nottingham University NHS Foundation Trust is one of the biggest and busiest acute Trusts in England, employing 14,500 staff.
