*Job Title: *Occupational Therapist *Trust:*Worcestershire Acute NHS Trust *Location: * Worcester Royal Hospital *Ward: * Occupational Therapy Neurological Outpatient Service *Pay Rates: *£21.80 Per hour *Shift Patterns: * 22.75 hours Mon-Fri Either 0800-1600 or 0830-1630 *Why might this job interest you? * You will be part of a team delivering Occupational Therapy within the Neurological Outpatient service. The patient group is moderate to complex. The role will involve triaging of new referrals and seeing patients for face to face or virtual appointments. *What you can add:* The role will be to provide client centered occupational therapy for clients referred to the Neurology Out-Patients Service. The service accepts referrals for clients with a wide range of neurological conditions who experience functional difficulties affecting their ability to participate in daily living activities. This will include highly specialist assessment and treatment and possible referrals to other speciality services. This highly specialized service is predominantly provided to patients in the hospital settings but can also take place in the community, as appropriate. The service adopts a holistic approach offering assessment and treatment to reduce disability and the impact of the disability arising from physical illness and injury.
