We are recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor (internally known as Flexible Worker Advisor). This is a 12‑month maternity cover contract ending March 2027. The role is based at Alder Hey Hospital, Liverpool Women’s Hospital and Warrington NHS Trust, covering three trusts across Liverpool and Warrington. A car owner is essential due to the regional locations; hybrid/remote days may also be available.
In this busy and exciting role, you will receive and respond to queries from our workers, supporting them with shift booking. The on‑site team facilitates filling bank shifts while ensuring the workers’ requirements are met or exceeded. Every call you answer and every query resolved helps support healthcare professionals in NHS trusts and hospitals across the country.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to high‑volume internal and external customer enquiries.
- Support shift booking and manage the bank shift allocation process.
- Establish strong working relationships with hiring and bank staff communities.
- Prioritise tasks, pre‑empt process or service issues, and maintain a customer‑obsessed focus.
- Communicate effectively in writing, face to face and over the telephone with a wide range of customers.
- Use the NHS Professionals systems to log and track customer queries.
Qualifications
- Customer service experience where delighting the customer is a core focus.
- Administration experience and ability to handle high volume enquiries.
- Proactive approach to relationships and troubleshooting.
- Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong time‑management and workload prioritisation abilities.
- Car owner (essential for the regional locations).
