Job description: Job Title: Domestic Assistant Trust: NHS Property Services Location: John Coupland Hospital, Ropery Road, Gainsborough, DN21 2TJ Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour Shift Patterns: The hours of work would be from 6.00-20.00 Monday -Sunday on an ad hoc basis. About the Role As a Domestic Assistant, you\’ll be the cornerstone of cleanliness, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors. With meticulous attention to detail and strict adherence to infection control protocols, you\’ll keep our facilities gleaming and pristine. What you’ll be responsible for: · Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of clinical areas to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. · Adhere to infection control protocols to uphold high cleanliness standards. · Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. · Communicate effectively with departmental staff, colleagues, line managers, and patients. Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience: · Preferred experience in a domestic or similar role, though not required. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure. · Familiarity with COSSH and health and safety protocols.
