Are you looking for a Senior Business Analyst role where you can really make a difference?, NHS Professionals are undertaking an unprecedented transformation across their organisation and we are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a fundamental role in this exciting programme.
This is a senior position and carries the responsibility of team management of a team of Business Analysts, therefore it is essential that you have proven, team management experience.
The role will also be responsible for ensuring that the application systems employed within the business are defined, understood and that agreement is obtained for the development and implementation of innovative technology solution.
As a key member of the team, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to support this transformation programme, providing business analysis expertise across a number of projects which will ultimately support the NHS in delivering critical frontline services.
This opportunity will allow you to utilise your extensive business analysis skills to deliver highly complex and fast paced projects within the Transformation portfolio.

Skills/Responsibilities:

Customer experience and service delivery are front, and centre of NHS Professionals and this role is responsible for working with stakeholders to analyse gaps in current service delivery, identify solutions to improve this and map future business requirements and processes that will enhance the way in which NHS Professionals supports their clients and Bank Members

You will have the agility to work across multiple projects, be a true team player and enjoy working at pace in an environment that never stands still.

You will be a highly experienced Business Analyst, having worked on large complex digital and transformation change programmes. Your excellent communication skills and people centric approach will enable you to work with stakeholders at all levels to gather business requirements.

Produce current (As-Is) / future (To-Be) Processes, Business Requirements, Functional and Non-Functional Requirements, Use Cases, Target Operating Models (TOM), Gap Analysis, Impact Analysis, Risk Assessment, Risk Mitigation.

Manage requirement capture, analysis and system design within both Waterfall and Agile environments and the SDLC and Agile development projects

Provide representation both in person and through provision of information to key meetings and project boards

Project manage enhancements and developments to ensure maximum benefits are realised

Team management of the Business Analyst team

Strong experience in gap analysis and process mapping

Strong experience in low level requirements gathering and analysis; Use of standard business techniques such as Scenarios and Use-cases, Organizational Modelling, Scope Modelling, Observation (Job Shadowing), Focus Groups, Acceptance and Evaluation, User Stories, Brainstorming, Storyboarding, Prototyping, Structured Walk-through, Event Analysis, Business Rule analysis, Requirements Workshops, Risk Analysis, Root Cause Analysis

Experience of working in a transformation and change management environment

Ability to influence individuals or groups from other business areas in order that solutions or requirements are clearly identified, and appropriate actions implemented.

Open and transparent communication skills.

Ability to develop effective working relationships with project teams to ensure optimum outcome for the project.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Visio and MS Office Suite

Working knowledge of Azure DevOps will be beneficial but not essential
