Overview
Salary: £109,725 - £145,478 per annum (Pro-rata). Contract: Fixed Term. Hours: Part-time — 2 Programmed Activities (DCC: SPA = 1.75 : 0.25). Location: Widford Hall, Tattersall Way, Chelmsford, Essex, CM2 8TD. On call: None.
Qualifications
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
- CCT or equivalent
- Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST

Responsibilities
- Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people across South East Essex and Thurrock
- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
- Work directly with children and young people, and their families, and liaise with other external health providers and acute hospitals
- Support peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative
- Work alongside 1 WTE CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist within the service
- Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies

Role context
This is an established, substantive, part-time CAMHS Eating Disorder Service position based in South Essex and Thurrock, Chelmsford, Essex. The post is currently vacant; recruitment is underway with the aim to fill as soon as possible. The successful candidate will join a wider CAMHS team and contribute to future direction and service design.
