NHS Grampian is now recruiting Final Year Nursing Students (Adult Branch) or nurses seeking their first registered nurse post after graduating from a UK university. Applicants must be graduating from an NMC-approved undergraduate programme and be ready to register as a nurse by the end of October 2025. There will be future opportunities for those wishing to start beyond October 2025.

NHS Grampian offers strong support for new graduate nurses, including:

  • Support to complete Flying Start NHS

To join NHS Grampian as a new graduate nurse on a permanent contract across various clinical settings, please read the instructions below thoroughly before applying.

Once your application is accepted, our Clinical Nurse Managers will allocate you to an available post based on your experience, skills, and the preferences you list in your application. Please note, a high volume of applicants may require an interview process for matching to posts.
