Position Details

This is a fixed-term position for 1 year. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

Team and System Overview

The CORE (Centre of Rostering Excellence) Team manages the Boards\’ rostering systems, including Health Roster and SSTS. SSTS is a well-established time and attendance system that transmits shift and absence data directly to the NHS payroll system and provides workforce information for management reporting. Health Roster is in the early stages of configuration and rollout, offering robust eRostering functionality to align staff resources with service needs and staffing legislation.

Role Responsibilities

This role offers an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to be involved in system administration, payroll interface processes, and training for new and existing users across NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, NHS Lanarkshire, NHS Dumfries & Galloway, The State Hospital, The National Waiting Times Centre, and NHS Western Isles. Once trained, the applicant will become a local system expert, analyzing reports, identifying user issues, providing first-line support, and advising the organization to maximize system benefits.
