Band 6 – Speech and Language Therapist

2 x Part Time posts of 22.2 hours (1.2 WTE available) Band 6 (£41,608 – £50,702) pro rata

We have an exciting opportunity for innovative and motivated Speech and Language Therapists to join our friendly Children’s Service in Aberdeen. These posts are in our community team delivering universal, targeted and specialist levels of input to a dedicated caseload of children with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs including additional support needs.

We are looking for enthusiastic and well-organised Speech and Language Therapists who are passionate about working with children and young people.

You will be an excellent communicator and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team in a variety of different settings. Regular supervision from more experienced/specialist staff will be provided and the service has a strong commitment to CPD.

The team has good administrative and assistant support and there are excellent working relationships with colleagues within schools and local authorities.
