Set in a modern, purpose built environment, the facility combines a top quality hospital with hotel, conference facilities and centres for research, clinical skills and innovation. The post holder will be responsible for the direct management of a complex and multi-stranded portfolio of quality improvement programmes. These programmes will support delivery of the highest quality health and care services in NHS Golden Jubilee through monitoring and using performance, quality and safety data to identify issues that need to be addressed and taking follow-up action to improve the quality of the care and services delivered.
As Quality Improvement Lead – Performance, Improvement, and Realistic Medicine, this role will lead on QI programmes within the Clinical Divisions and Value Based Health Care and Realistic Medicine workstreams. The role will provide the day-to-day QI leadership required to progress and drive the range of projects forwards. It will also support the Associate Medical Director to develop bids for additional funding from national realistic medicine funds.
Actively promote safe and reliable person centred healthcare, an open, just and fair culture and achievement of the aims and goals of the NHS Golden Jubilee (NHS GJ) Strategy. Reporting to the Head of Quality Improvement, the post holder will possess extensive experience in quality improvement, be adept at managing multiple complex initiatives, with substantial experience in change management, ideally within the health and social care landscape.
