Applications are invited from recently retired Consultants (within the last 5 years) who have previously worked as Secondary Care Appraisers within NHS Ayrshire and Arran.
These temporary locum consultant posts have been created to help with the shortfall in secondary care appraiser capacity within NHS Ayrshire and Arran. Initial appointment would be for 12 months and the post may be available on a recurring basis for a maximum of 3 years.
The expectation would be for you to carry out 11 (0.5PA p/w) or 22 (1PA p/w) secondary care appraisals within the 12-month period from appointment, to be carried out flexibly in time and place to fit with your appraisee’s requirements.
