We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide a comprehensive service in the unique setting of the Shetland Islands. The role focuses on rehabilitation, reablement and graded rehabilitation programmes for adults aged 18 and over, particularly older adults with complex conditions. Work will be primarily within the community, in clients' homes and local authority care homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide HCPC registered occupational therapy services in accordance with national standards.
- Assess and develop graded rehabilitation programmes for clients in a variety of settings.
- Lead and support the Intermediate Care Team, including managerial responsibilities.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals within the team to deliver high quality care.
Qualifications
- Registered with HCPC and holding a degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, demonstrating a highly developed understanding of occupational therapy.
- Experience in assessing and developing graded rehabilitation programmes.
- Leadership and managerial experience.
