This is a full time (37) permanent post worked over 08.30 – 16.30.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 staff nurse to work within the Health for All nursing team in The Aranthrue Centre. The post holder will have the ability to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team carrying out in-depth holistic initial and review health assessments for children and young people who are care experienced including unaccompanied asylum seeking individuals. The post holder will be responsible for the implementation and evaluation of care plans for children and young people with a variety of differing physical health, mental health and social care needs.

They will work across the Renfrewshire area in community and clinic settings, linking with families and carers, local Children’s Houses, social work departments, educational establishments, CAMHS and other health colleagues. The post holder will require to be adult or paediatric nurse trained with relevant experience demonstrating evidence of an understanding of the health needs of the care experienced population. They should also demonstrate continuous professional development in child protection. They will be an independent autonomous practitioner who will require excellent communication skills and be part of a specialist team who provide a high quality service to care experienced children, young people and their families.

Driving licence is required and NMC registration.
