An opportunity has arisen within West Regions for a Head of Service position. Likely to be based within the Ayrshire and Argyll and Clyde areas, the post holder’s base will be determined at interview.

All Head of Service posts within the Regions are generic, and the successful candidate would be responsible for the operational management of all SAS assets within that Sub Region. The post holder will also carry a strategic portfolio of work as the lead officer across the sub region and will be expected to engage with partners within the NHS and externally at a strategic level.

This is a Senior Post within the Region, and the successful candidate will be an individual who has a proven track record at middle management level (e.g. ASM or other appropriate management experience) and has a proven ability of achievement in operations and in delivering strategic objectives.
