We are currently looking for a friendly and committed GP to join our team in providing care for our fantastic and diverse patient group.
Kingsgate Medical Practice is looking for a Locum to work 6- 8 sessions per week from March 2025 with view to Partnership.
We require cover on a full day Friday with remaining sessions to be discussed.
Practice make-up
The team currently consists of 6 GPs, 1 Salaried GP, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 2 Practice Nurses and an HCA. We also have a very experienced pharmacist, CPN and Physiotherapist. The practice is run by a fantastic and proactive management and admin team. Kingsgate is an established training practice, and we enjoy the stimulation of supporting GP Registrars and Medical Students in their professional development.
The practice is a fun, supportive group that encourages doctors to pursue their individual interests, as well as maintaining a good work/life balance. Daily protected breaks and our friendly team mean that our coffee room is often filled with laughter and home-made cakes. We are an EMIS practice offering sessions consisting of both face-to face and telephone consultations.
Kingsgate Medical Practice is a modern, well-equipped practice with a patient list size of 8,600. It is located in Bathgate in the middle of the Central Belt of Scotland, and easily commutable from Edinburgh, Glasgow and the surrounding countryside.
The Practice building also houses a robust mix of allied health professionals offering services and coverage for the area, including District Nurses, Health Visitors and Midwives, enabling easy communications and good relationships across the medical spectrum.
