Mon & Wed 8.30-6PM (17hrs per week)

Are you a qualified, motivated Practice Nurse looking for a new challenge?

We are a friendly, forward-thinking team consisting of 8 GP Partners & 3 salaried GPs. Alongside our Practice Nurse team, we have 3 ANPs, 2 Practice Pharmacists & our HCSW. Due to a recent retirement, we are looking for a Practice Nurse to complete our team.

We are a training and undergraduate teaching practice, supporting a patient list of approximately 15,800. We pride ourselves on providing excellent evidence-based patient care & strive for each employee to feel valued & respected.

The post holder shall be a Registered Nurse with current NMC UK Registration (responsibility for maintaining their own registration). Knowledge and skills in a Practice Nurse setting are a requirement of the post, in addition to evidence of Continuing Professional Development, through education and training. Experience in Chronic Disease Management with diplomas in either Asthma/COPD/Diabetes or having completed the General Practice Nurse Programme would be ideal but is not essential.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic & reliable person with effective communication skills, developed specialist knowledge underpinned by theory and experience, who enjoys working independently but also as part of a close-knit team.
