We are offering a relief Administrative Assistant role within the West Lothian Community Administration Teams to support WLHSCP community vaccination services. The position involves a varied workload across multiple teams.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients in person, register them on TURAS, and handle telephone enquiries.
- Perform a range of ad hoc administrative tasks and maintain accurate systems and documentation.
- Provide a professional telephone manner and clear communication; work independently or as part of a team.
- Participate in training and ongoing support, and develop new skills while working with multi-agency teams.

- Attention to detail and a conscientious work ethic
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
Employment details
- Post 1: 20 hours per week – Wednesday & Thursday (8:30am–4:30pm) and Friday (8:30am–2:00pm)
- Post 2: 17 hours per week – Saturday & Sunday (8:30am–5:30pm)
- These are relief positions, and shift patterns may change based on service requirements.
