Consultant in OMFS with interest in Orthognathic and Skin

We are seeking a motivated team member to join our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) department. The successful applicant will perform duties in both minor and major OMFS procedures, managing patients in outpatient and inpatient settings. This includes handling urgent suspected cancer cases and general OMFS cases. The post holder will also participate in the consultant on-call rota. There is scope for developing subspecialty interests aligned with service needs.

The role is dynamic and involves outpatient management, local and general anaesthetic treatment lists, theatre case management (including ward, discharge, and post-operative care), supporting service colleagues in managing 18-week RTT and urgent suspected cancer pathways, overseeing clinical governance within the OMFS department, and contributing to service improvements and planning alongside operational and nursing teams. The position is based across the Royal London Dental Hospital and Whipps Cross Hospital.

We are looking for an individual with interest and experience in Skin and Orthognathic surgery. The role includes joining the consultant on-call rota, typically 1 in 8.
