We are looking for two motivated and compassionate registered healthcare professionals to join our Vaccination Team delivering the national vaccination programme across Caithness and Sutherland.
As a Vaccinator, You Will:
- Prepare and administer vaccines safely in line with PGDs, protocols, and national standards.
- Provide clear information, reassurance, and support to patients and carers.
- Recognise and respond appropriately to adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and support the safe running of vaccination clinics.
- Work flexibly across a range of settings, including community clinics, schools, and care homes.
- Participate in vaccination education and health promotion.
You Should Be:
- A registered nurse, midwife, or allied health professional with current NMC/HCPC registration.
- Confident in working independently within scope of practice and as part of a wider team.
- Committed to high standards of clinical care, infection prevention, and patient safety.
- In possession of a full driving licence and able to travel within Caithness and Sutherland as required.
- Able to work Monday to Friday, usually a 7.4 hour shift between the hours of 08:00-18:00, depending on service need.
