About Raigmore Hospital: Raigmore Hospital provides midwifery, obstetric, and neonatal care to pregnant women and their families in the Scottish Highlands. It covers a rural area of 12,500 square miles and handles approximately 1,800 births annually.

Job Role: The post holder will be a rotational midwife within the unit, including Triage, Day Assessment Unit, Antenatal Clinics, Antenatal inpatient ward, Intrapartum, Postnatal, and High Dependency areas.

Candidate Requirements: The successful candidate must be flexible, a good team player, and possess excellent time management skills. Previous experience is desirable but not essential. Candidates should be eligible to apply for a B6 post and have completed the Flying Start programme.

Location and Lifestyle: Inverness, the largest city in the Scottish Highlands, is on Scotland’s North East coast. It has excellent road and rail links, including direct rail links to Inverness Airport. The city attracts visitors worldwide and offers many outdoor activities such as wild swimming, walking, mountain biking, and hill walking, providing a great work/life balance.
