We have an exciting opportunity for a Resourcing Assistant to join our newly formed Resourcing Team.
About the Role
The post holder will work as part of a team responsible for providing an NHS Highland-wide resourcing service covering all job families across all geographic areas of NHS Highland. The teamβs activities include:
- Coordination of bank and agency worker engagements
- Resident doctor rotation
- Redeployment
- Recruitment to posts on Agenda for Change, Medical, Dental, and Executive terms and conditions of employment
Responsibilities
The role includes supporting the resourcing and administration processes for bank and agency workers, processing requests for supplementary staffing, managing agency invoices, securing availability for work, matching and booking workers, notifying bookings to clinical areas, handling enquiries, and supporting redeployment activities.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with good attention to detail, data inputting and keyboarding skills, a customer care approach, understanding of confidentiality, and the energy and motivation to join a busy, fast-paced environment.
Additional Information
The post is based in Inverness. It is a permanent role, full-time (currently 37 hours per week, reducing to 36 hours from 1 April 2026). Flexibility around hours is also welcome.
