An enthusiastic and confident Occupational Therapist is required to join our Mental Health Occupational Therapy Team. This post is based in Lochgilphead Argyll, and allows the post-holder to work between the acute In-patient Mental Health Assessment ward and the local Community Mental Health Team, with the support of a Band 6 OT and and Band 4 OT Assistant.
You will have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy, excellent communication skills and an ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Experience in a mental health setting is desirable as well as a positive attitude towards people with mental health problems and recovery focussed care. You will be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council and experience of Model of Human occupation is desirable.
A full UK manual driving licence is essential for this post.
This is a full-time permanent post of 37 hours per week, to be worked in accordance with service requirements and in agreement with line management.
