Job Description:

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, one of the UK\’s largest healthcare systems, employs around 40,000 staff across clinical and non-clinical roles. We serve over 1.15 million people locally and 2.2 million regionally and nationally.

The shift pattern is Monday – Thursday 0800-1600, and Friday 0800-1530, with a 30-minute lunch break.

The Women and Children’s Directorate supports team adoption of new digital M365 apps. We seek a highly engaged, approachable candidate eager to support digital tool implementation to enhance productivity and promote smarter working. This full-time Medical Secretary role is based at the Princess Royal Maternity within Glasgow Royal Infirmary. The workload is fast-paced and unpredictable; candidates must demonstrate discretion and diplomacy in confidential settings. Responsibilities include managing Gynaecology Consultants’ waiting lists, supporting Gynaecology Oncology, handling patient and colleague inquiries, audio typing, and other duties as required.
