This part-time Band 2 Health Care Support Worker position is based in Ward 3 at the New Victoria Hospital, a 23-hour stay, 12-bed post-operative surgical ward within the Day Surgery Unit. The ward experiences high patient turnover and operates on a rota covering 24 hours from Monday to Friday, which may change.
The role requires good numeracy and literacy skills, previous clinical experience, and a flexible, committed approach. You should be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating sensitivity and care. Flexibility in working hours and the ability to work across multiple sites within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde are essential.
