NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to over 1.15 million people, expanding to 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
We are hiring three permanent positions for 37, 29.8, and 22.2 hours weekly (salary is pro-rata for part-time). These roles are based in the Imaging Departments of the Clyde Sector, supporting patient care during imaging procedures.
- Post 1: Based at Royal Alexandra Hospital, working 7.5-hour days, including 12-hour shifts and nights, totaling 37 hours/week, including weekends and public holidays.
- Post 2: Also at Royal Alexandra Hospital with rotation to Vale of Leven Hospital, working 7.5-hour and 12-hour shifts, 29.8 hours/week over four days, including weekends and holidays.
- Post 3: Located at Inverclyde Royal Hospital, with 12-hour shifts every second weekend, 7.5-hour days, totaling 22.2 hours/week, including public holidays.
The roles involve patient preparation, assisting with exams, working with Radiology IT systems for patient identification, and IV cannulation. Candidates should have extensive hospital support experience and be patient-focused.
This part-time role does not qualify for a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
